Vision Benefits

The City of Springfield offers vision coverage through MetLife’s Superior Vision network. The plan helps employees and eligible dependents save on routine eye exams, prescription eyeglasses and contact lenses.

Employees may visit any licensed vision provider; however, using a Superior Vision network provider generally results in lower out-of-pocket costs and eliminates the need to submit a claim for reimbursement.

Current plan year: March 1, 2026 through February 28, 2027
Vision network: MetLife Superior Vision
