🌞 Protect Your Skin—Protect Your Health 🌞
Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the U.S., with 9,500 new cases diagnosed daily. The good news? It’s largely preventable!
- Wear SPF 30+ daily
- 🔹Avoid peak sun (10 AM–4 PM)
- 🔹Skip the tanning beds
- 🔹Check your skin monthly
As part of National Skin Cancer Awareness Month, Central Illinois residents are invited to a free skin cancer screening on Tuesday, May 20, from 5–7 PM at the Simmons Cancer Institute at SIU Medicine (315 W Carpenter Street).
Your health matters—take the time to protect your skin for the long run.
Drop Your HR Documents in our Secured Blue Metal Drop Box
The Office of Human Resources has a secured blue metal mail drop box on the first floor of the MCW building between the security booth and the elevators that can be utilized for any HR documents versus dropping off at the office on the third floor.
This will help reduce traffic throughout the whole building.
